2 new Perks just dropped!

Send email with Resend Pro... for free!

Hey Makers ⚡️

I introduced ShipFast Perks a few weeks ago — unique discounts for ShipFast members (worth $1,200!)

The CEO of Resend agreed to a new deal, exclusive for ShipFast Makers: $100/month OFF for 6 months so you can send emails with their API, for free!

Like the Vercel deal, 10 people will be selected on the 1st of each month. Submit your entry here to get a chance to be selected.

But wait, there’s more…

2 months ago I launched DataFast — the analytics tool I wish I had when I started. Visitors data, payments, and every metric in between to understand what drives visitors to make a purchase.

And… You get 30% OFF all yearly plans! 🤑

To redeem this perk, sign up for DataFast using your ShipFast email (this one). The discount will be applied automatically after the 14-day free trial.

But wait, there’s even more…

I’ve broken the #1 rule: I changed my tech stack…

I’m no longer using Mailgun to send emails. Instead, I use Resend for every new product I create.

Resend offers marketing emails. So I can easily broadcast a product update without using a third-party service.

❌ For ShipFast, I use Mailgun to send transactional emails (i.e. Magic Links) and Beehiiv ($99/month…) to send these ShipFast updates.
✅ For DataFast & CodeFast, I use Resend for everything which makes my life simpler.

From now on, the ShipFast codebase comes with Resend by default. But no worries, if you prefer Mailgun, the documentation shows you how to set it up.

💡 My tip:

Don’t bother swapping your email provider. If you’re using Mailgun, keep it (ShipFast still runs on Mailgun).

If you like Resend, use it when you create a new product.

In the end, customers don’t care where emails are coming from, so keep shipping features!

It’s probably the last update of 2024, so I wish you a Happy New Year and all the best for 2025 🎉
