The Testimonials11 component was updated to support video testimonials 🎥

  1. Collect a video testimonial from a customer

  2. Add it to the public folder or to a CDN (I use AWS S3 + Cloudfront)

  3. Add a testimonial to list with videoSrc: "/video.mp4" and type: refTypes.video

Video testimonials are the best kind of testimonials to build trust because it's genuine. 

When asking for testimonials from your customers, offer them some guidelines:

  • Keep it short (2/3 sentences)

  • Answer these questions: What were you trying to achieve before purchasing XYZ? How did XYZ help you?

Give your customer the option to send over a video instead of text (but don't force it). Tell them to speak like they would with a friend on WhatsApp, so they are at ease.
